Shaw Mansion, New London Photos

The Captain Nathaniel Shaw Mansion (1756) is now the New London County Historical Society museum. Captain Nathaniel Shaw was an American Naval Agent during the American Revolution and he was visited by George Washington (Apr. 9&10, 1776) and Lafayette (Aug. 22, 1824). This house museum displays many Revolutionary era antiques.
