Joseph Webb House Museum, Wethersfield, CT Photos

The Joseph Webb House (1752) had its most historic moment when George Washington met French commander Comte de Rochambeau (May 17, 1781) in the Webb parlor to plan the Siege of Yorktown. This meeting is pictured on a mural by Wallace Nutting who restored the house as a museum early in the 20th Century. This well furnished museum house is part of the Webb Deane Stevens Museum complex.
