Tuolumne County Museum and History Research Center, 158 Bradford St., Sonora, CA occupies the site of the former Tuolumne County Jail. The museum focuses on the history of Tuolumne County, its peoples and its role in the gold mining industry. A vintage sheriff's office, cell block and history of the jail are also displayed.
