Ferry Building, San Francisco Photos

The Ferry Building at the east end of Market Street sits on the Embarcadero which has become a significant place to stroll and enjoy sculptures and watch ferries and tour boats sale beneath the nearby Oakland Bay Bridge. The Ferry Building (1896-8) has a 12-story clock tower and was designed by architect: A. Page Brown. On National Register the inside has been converted to a marketplace.
