National Park Service Medical Museum, Richmond Photos

Chimborazo Hospital of the Confederacy, east of downtown Richmond, VA, was one of the largest hospitals of the War between the States. Today, on the Chimborazo site, the National Park Service operates a Civil War Medical Museum and visitor center as part of its Richmond National Battlefield Park. The museum is housed in a former Federal Weather Station (1909).
