Woodrow Wilson Birthplace & Presidential Library, Staunton Photos

Woodrow Wilson's parents as Presbyterian ministers were transferred every few years. It was while they served in Staunton, VA that Woodrow Wilson, who would become the American President during World War I, was born (Dec. 28, 1856). Wilson's birthplace house is now a museum reflecting how it was furnished at the time and contains many objects belonging to the Wilson family. A second building contains the presidential library and museum covering Woodrow Wilson's life.
