Norfolk & Portsmouth, VA Photos
The cities of Norfolk & Portsmouth sit on opposite banks of the Elizabeth River which runs into the James River & Chesapeake Bay. The system of waterways is home to one of the largest of U.S. Naval bases. The two towns host several heritage buildings, the Douglas MacArthur Memorial, Nauticus and its naval museums, plus the Chrysler Museum and its branch heritage house museums.
