Thousand Islands Photos

At the eastern end of Lake Ontario, the Great Lakes become the St Lawrence River, the border between Ontario, Canada and New York State. At that point the St Lawrence flows among numerous small islands, known as the Thousand Islands, many of which are used for elaborate summer homes seen by tour boats in the summer. A major International Bridge spans crosses the region leading from Canada to Interstate 81.
