Philipse Manor, Yonkers, NY Photos

Philipse Manor dates back to a Dutch plantation founded in 1646. The house was in the hands of the Philipse family until 1776 when George Washington ordered the patriarch arrested. The manor's exterior was altered in the 18th century & served as Yonker's City Hall until 1907.
