Eleanor Roosevelt's Val-Kill, Hyde Park, NY Photos

Eleanor Roosevelt National Historic Site is in her home Val-Kill cottage which is located near the Springwood home of Franklin D. Roosevelt. It was from this home that Mrs. Roosevelt continued her humanitarian work after the death of her President husband & where she entertained political & world leaders like Mahatma Gandhi, Nikita Khrushchev & John F. Kennedy. The cottage is now run by the National Parks Service in conjunction with other Roosevelt historic sites.
