U.S. Grant's Monuments & Portraits Photos

Ulysses Simpson Grant, 18th US President (1869-1877) lived (1822-1885), was a greatly respected General for both winning the Civil War & for his wisdom in imposing terms of Southern surrender which allowed the people of the South to recover economically. His main memorials are his tomb in New York City & a sculpture group in front of the US Capitol in Washington, DC.
