Freemont Street Experience, Las Vegas Photos

With the drawing power of the luxury hotels of The Strip, the historic casinos along Freemont Street had to reinvent the area to keep clients coming. Consequently several blocks were turned into a pedestrian mall & covered with what amounts to the world's largest video screen arch. Each evening, every hour on the hour, all the lights on the mall go out & one of several dozen possible shows plays for ten minutes. Shows vary from giant space ships flying along Freemont Street to abstract jazz performances are among the dozens which fill the several blocks.
