Emerald Mound Photos

Just north of Natchez, MS, on the Natchez Trace parkway, Emerald Mound is the second largest Native American ceremonial mound in the United States. The flat-topped earthen structure rises 35 feet & was the site of temples, religious and civic rituals between 1250 and 1600 AD.
