Mississippi War Memorial, Jackson, MS Photos

The Art Deco Mississippi War Memorial Building (1939) beside the Old Capitol was a WPA project. It features three aluminum doors with scenes of battles important in the history of Mississippi. Nearby down the street is the Monument to the Confederate Dead.
