Beacon Hill, Boston Photos

Beacon Hill behind the State House & above Boston Commons is a grid of narrow streets planned by the first American-born architect Charles Bulfinch. For the most part the many scenic townhouses are Georgian or Federalist in style. The district in on the National Register of Historic Places.
