Esplanade Avenue of French Quarter, New Orleans Photos

Esplanade Avenue was once the downriver (northeast) fortification of the French Quarter of New Orleans. It became a fashionable avenue on the edge of the Vieux Carré with a selection of architecture different from that found in the older French Quarter.
