Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Museum, Abilene Photos

The Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Center is built on the grounds of the Eisenhower family home (1898-1946) open for tours. The buildings comprise Eisenhower's Museum (1956) , Library (1962), Place of Meditation (containing Ike & Mamie's tombs) plus a monument to the Supreme Allied Commander in WW II, President of Columbia University & President of the United States (1953-1961). The Museum traces not only Eisenhower's life, but also WW II, the Cold War.
