University of California at Irvine Photos

The University of California at Irvine (UCI) is a campus planned from scratch in the 1960s by architect William Pereira. At the heart of the campus is a circular park around which runs a wide ring pedestrian walkway flanked on both sides by several styles of modern architecture. The first buildings were of the Brutalist school.
