Rancho Santa Fe, CA Photos

Originally established as a eucalyptus plantation to supply railway ties for the Santa Fe, the railroad turned the ranch into a planned community when the wood proved unsuitable. Due to nearby Del Mar Racetrack & horse owner Bing Crosby, the area soon drew a large number of movie stars & consequently unique upscale country homes.
