Palos Verdes, CA Photos

Palos Verdes was laid out as a Millionaire's Colony of 16,000 acres in 1913 by planners Olmsted & Olmsted, Howard Shaw & Myron Hunt. Today Palos Verdes is a tract of upscale architecture set among forests, parks, clubs and winding roads. Comprising the southwest corner of Los Angeles, it is like another world without strip malls and its hills offer great views of the whole Los Angeles basin to the north and east, plus the Pacific Ocean & Catalina to the west and south.
