Burford - The Cotswolds Photos

Burford, known as a gateway to the Cotswolds and a popularl town for visitors, has medieval origins and was important in the wool trade of that era. Of particular interest are its main street, which descends steeply to cross the Windrush River and is lined with small shops and restaurants, and St. John the Baptist church (11th-15thC).
