South Island, New Zealand Photos

South Island, one of the two major NZ islands, is known for its high mountain ranges, rough coast line and coastal birdlife such as penguins and albatross. Attractions include sightseeing, hiking and adventure tourism. Christchurch, with its many tourist amenities, is the urban focal point of the South Island.
