SS Great Britain was a pioneering propeller driven iron passenger steamship (1845-1886) which now serves as a museum ship in Bristol, England. When designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel for the Great Western Steamship Company's transatlantic run between Bristol and New York City, she was the largest passenger ship in the world.
